Trauma Informed Care
(For direct care staff/QP/Clinician's/foster parents/other professionals)
As a Rostered TFCBT Clinician I have completed a yearlong collaborative to provide Trauma Focused and Informed care to children and adolescents with a history of traumatic experience or PTSD. I have provided this training to professionals in the field monthly and have developed a curriculum that includes psycho education on brain development and impacts of trauma on the brain; types of traumatic experience and statistical information related to trauma in multiple populations as well as interactive content on understanding trauma and working with individuals who have had traumatic experience. This training is dynamic and fun; it provides hands on approach to learning and teaching skills, strategies and interventions to children and families. Professionals in the field and professional parents will benefit from Trauma Informed Care
